Workshops
Come with your own group or take part in a public workshop, that will
take place in the Gerda Retter Design studio located in Aparaaditehas, Tartu.
You can make a leather product (earrings/ necklace/ bracelet/ cufflinks/ brooch/ keychain/ cardholder/ pencil case/ harness) with the help of a craftsman.
The workshop is suitable for anyone, no previous craft experience is necessary.
You can choose between four different workshops or combine these workshops:
1. Jewelry-making workshop
You can make earrings, necklace, bracelet, brooch or cufflinks.
The technique is forms cut out of leather and decoration.
Jewelry-making workshop price list:
4-6 people: 45 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend €50 / person
7-13 people: 40 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend €45 / person.
The minimum number of participants is 4 and the maximum is 16.
2. Cardholder or keychain workshop
Make cardholder or keychain, you can add text, monogram and/or decorate your product.
Cardholder or keychain workshop price list:
4-6 people: 55 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 60 € / person
7-10 people: 50 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 55 € / person.
The minimum number of participants is 4 and the maximum is 10.
3. Pencil or glasses case
Make pencil or glasses case, you can add text, monogram and/or decorate your product.
4-6 people: 70 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 75 € / person
7-10 people: 65 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 70 € / person.
The minimum number of participants is 4 and the maximum is 10.
4. Harness workshop
You can design and make your own harness. We use vegetable-tanned black or brown leather and combine it with silver, black, brass, or golden details.
Harness workshop price list:
3-4 people: 90 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 95 €/ person.
5-6 people: 85 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 90 €/ person.
The minimum number of participants is 3 and the maximum is 6.
5. Workshop for children - bracelet or keychain making
We'll be cutting out shapes from leather scraps. Children can choose their favourite shape and colors. The workshop is designed for children aged 4 and up.
Children workshop price list:
4-6 people: 30 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 35 €/ person.
7-13 people: 25 €/ person on weekdays; at the weekend 30 €/ person.
The minimum number of participants is 4 and the maximum is 13.
