Brand

Gerda Retter has founded her brand in 2016 while still studying leather design at Tartu Art College. Each product is handcrafted in my atelier in Tartu Aparaaditehas (The Widget Factory) Estonia.

Small production and personal approach is my brand’s purpose. I want to touch hearts with my creations, through respect for the traditional handicraft, high-quality materials and attention to detail.

I use only high-quality chrome tanned leathers to make the goods. 

Spatial forms and geometrical shapes are my brand’s trademarks.

Being personally involved in creating every product is essential to me — I wouldn’t run this brand otherwise.

I completed internships at accessory companies in Italy and Hungary, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in craftsmanship and production.

My work has reached an international audience — I have sold my products in New York and presented my designs at Venice Design Week as well as at the Design-A-Bag competition in Hong Kong.
