BRAND

Gerda Retter Design is an Estonian accessory brand since 2016. Each product is handcrafted in our atelier in Tartu Aparaaditehas (The Widget Factory) Estonia.

Small production and personal approach is our brand’s purpose. We want to touch hearts with our creations, through respect for the traditional handicraft, high-quality materials and attention to detail.

We use only high-quality chrome tanned leathers to make the goods. 

Spatial forms and geometrical shapes are the brand’s trademarks, as well as the simplicity of the Nordic colors and architecture.

 

  

 

 DESIGNER

Gerda Retter has founded her brand in 2016 while still studying leather design at Tartu Art College.

During her studies, she did internships at accessory companies in Italy and Hungary. 

She has been nominated in a Hong Kong Design-a-bag competition and several times in an Estonian Design Award BRUNO.
